Sharena is ex-Microsoft and Royal Bank of Scotland Group (NatWest & Coutts Bank). In 2017, pursued a passion and started Devotion Property Management in Devon and currently hosts the START UP. START NOW. podcast. She holds an undergraduate degree in BSc Business & Management from Aston University Birmingham and is currently studying towards an MSt in Entrepreneurship at Cambridge Judge Business School (Cambridge University) and elected Equalities Officer at The Cambridge Union (the oldest debating society in the world).

Sharena has been campaigning for gender equality in the workplace since 2014, when she founded Aston Women in Business society, influencing over 2,200 young females, and hosted over 90 female speaker sessions. Whilst at RBS, Sharena had the privilege of interviewing the first woman to lead a major UK bank, Alison Rose (CEO, RBS) and contribute to ‘The Alison Rose Review of Female Entrepreneurship’. Sharena’s achievements to date have been recognised by Deborah Meaden, Jamal Edwards MBE and Duke of York in recent years, and in 2017 was named UK’s top 50 brightest young leaders by Henley Business School.

Her work aims to raise awareness of entrepreneurship and highlight gender inequality. Most recently interviewed Ben Francis (Gymshark), Steven Bartlett (Social Chain), Holly Tucker (, Ainsley Harriott (chef) and Edwina Dunn (Tesco Clubcard) to name a few. Sharena currently divides her time living between Cambridge and Exeter.
